Don't know who still reads this space but...
Parents are at the airport now to head over to Perth for ten days! That means a lot of good food, travelling and more quality time coming up. I still have a major essay due with many readings in tow but oh well, worry later! Hehe. :D

Supposed to go for a picnic with Sarima today but it rained cats and dogs. So I'm all dressed up for nothing right now. :(
The good news is, I got into the Honours program and will be spending one more year in Perth! The admin took such a long time to process my application till I had to call and email repeatedly. (Sigh what else is new eh?) I'm scared out of my wits but at the same time, I'm so grateful that I got in! I'll just shove my fear aside till I have to face it next week. Celebrations are in order!

Woke up early on Friday and saw the burning sunrise from my window. The horizon was just red and nothing else. Jumped out of bed and ran to Matilda Bay in the freezing cold before I could lose the light. The morning traffic probably thought I was some crazy person sprinting for her life with a camera in hand and a half-opened backpack flying behind her. And I kinda slammed the door of my dorm building as I rushed out. Heh oops. Hope I didn't wake the entire floor up. I managed to get by the river just in time though so all's good.
Taken from 6.55am onwards. :)

The theme was Famous Alliances so Cass and I went as Gaga and Beyonce HAHAHA.
We were supposed to look like this but so much fail (especially my getup!).
The night was good though. It was the End of Semester dinner so after two and a half years, I was part of the graduating residents. We received a toast from Currie and had to go up front to take a farewell picture. Tomorrow night is the Graduates' Dinner. I'm so relieved Medha and Chongie will be there with me. I didn't know Vivian and Zehra were graduating as well till last night. Everything's happening so lightning fast! :(
This is a really beautiful picture taken last night. I LOVE THESE PEOPLE! I see them every day for lunch and dinner (sometimes even breakfast :p). One of the many, many reasons why I'm not ready to go yet.
And yes, I've changed my mind about wanting to go back. A complete one-eighty. I'm not ready to return at all! I applied for another year of studies but it's still uncertain on whether I'm gonna get in. I really hope that I can. If not, I plan to apply for a temporary visa for a few more months at least till my convocation in September. Or maybe perhaps even for PR? Meh, I don't know. Right now, I gotta focus on my work and exams. 16th June will be Judgment Day. :( Wish me luck!

Haha love this pic to bits. This is Medha, Cass and I sprawled on the grass during Earth Hour a few weeks back.
We were rolling around and laughing the entire hour that other people in college kept asking what was so funny. And we couldn't answer them cos we didn't know what we were laughing about, so we continued rolling around and laughed some more.
